The opportunity Our Software Engineering team is a diverse group of talented individuals who work across our Web and Mobile Apps, Platform, Learning Management System and Student Management System products. With aXcelerate in an exciting phase of growth, we have multiple positions available for experienced Full Stack Software Engineers to work on development of our products. Whilst these roles are permanent, we’re also happy to consider contract arrangements. Responsibilities

• Drive complex projects across teams from technical design to launch.
• Foster a collaborative and best-practice culture, promoting code reviews, unit testing, automated testing, operational excellence and knowledge sharing within your engineering team.
• Ensure you and your team are balancing technical debt and product development activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, prototyping and implementing innovative solutions with a focus on reliability, security, performance, and cost.
• Build quality relationships to influence and motivate others within engineering, product and design teams.
• Use critical thinking, suggest solutions based on industry best practices to tackle complex architecture challenges.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering their professional growth and sharing knowledge within the team

About You Experience as a Senior Engineer developing software solutions, demonstrating proficiency in various technologies including:

• Front end development frameworks: React or React Native and Typescript
• Backend technology such as Java and Node.js
• Highly proficient with Git
• Experience with containerisation and serverless technologies in AWS (desirable)
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (desirable)
