Qlik Sense / SQL - Data Visualisation Developer - Baseline - Contract -REMOTE!!

As a Qlik Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for clients.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS AN INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT PAYING A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF $850 PER DAY WHICH INCLUDES SUPER - PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR MORE!!An additional 12 month contract will follow making this an initially total of 15 months.Essential Job Functions

• Gather the business/functional requirements and develop the solutions that meet the business needs
• Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems utilizing the firm's elected analytics and visualization platforms, Qlik Sense
• Evaluate the current operational environment and identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics
• Perform testing of releases and patches for applications
• Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group
• Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas
• Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, testing outcomes, etc.)
• Maintain a professional awareness of tools and techniques that might be used to improve the quality of service
• Provide overlapping support for other tools in the environment such as TM1 (Planning Analytics)

Experience & Technical Skills Required

• 4 year college degree in general or IT-Related field required. Equivalent work experience considered
• 5+ years' Qlik Developer experience
• Experience with Qlik and SQL
• Ability to strategically develop dashboards from concept through implementation
• Must be good at data transformation from various sources, the creation of QVD files, and set analysis
• Experience in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik e. Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices
• Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all facets of the BI project lifecycle (data exploration, hypothesis testing, code development, testing/validation, deployment, etc.)
• Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
• Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of best practices to deliver effective solutions to the users
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
