At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for an experienced backend engineer to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of skill but the drive to push ourselves forward.
Stomble is creating, developing and building infrastructure that will eventually support Solo entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses within Australia and eventually have a global reach. Our mission at Stomble is to utilize innovative solutions to increase economic opportunities.
We're looking for a highly skilled engineer or lead, who is willing to join and/or help a small scrappy startup, who has experienced everything that we are going through, going to face and potential upcoming pitfalls. Our goal is to be a world class company, with work class knowledge and the ability to tackle all problems head-on.

Key Responsibilities:
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end and back-end systems.
- Azure Cloud Expertise: Develop and deploy API solutions on Azure using services like Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure App Services.
- Full Development Lifecycle: Take ownership of the entire API development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and delivery.
- DevOps Integration: Implement DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code to streamline deployment and delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end engineers, and business analysts, to ensure requirements are met.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve issues related to API functionality, performance, and security.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, architectural diagrams, and user guides.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of developing high-quality solutions.
- Experience with various third-party tools for testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms.
- Skilled in .NET, JavaScript & PostgreSQL.
- Solid experience in software, application and database development.
- Knowledge of the SDLC.
- Experience working alongside stakeholders and project team members.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL and data analytics.
- Experience in agile development, specifically SCRUM.
- Proficient in building and deploying .NET web apps/apis to Azure Cloud.
- CI/CD Continuous Integration, Delivery and DevOps experience in Microsoft Technologies.
- Proficient in build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks, RESTful API's and strong PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in deploying PaaS solutions, API's and Infrastructure as Code to Azure.
