Purpose of the Role As a Senior Game Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems that power our crypto-focused casino games and platform services. You’ll be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that deliver seamless gameplay experiences to a global audience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape the future of our gaming ecosystem, ensuring our backend architecture meets the demands of a rapidly growing, player-centric platform. Role And ResponsibilitiesGame Engine Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and efficient game engine for generating randomness in slot and casino games.
• Implement high-performance algorithms for Random Number Generation (RNG), ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and certification standards.
• Optimize game engine performance for speed, reliability, and scalability, supporting real-time casino operations.

RNG & Fairness Compliance

• Ensure the integrity and fairness of randomness mechanics by implementing cryptographic security and statistical randomness validation.
• Continuously monitor and improve the robustness of RNG algorithms to prevent bias and predictability.

Security & Fraud Prevention

• Implement security best practices to prevent fraud, hacking, or manipulation of randomness.
• Work with security teams to conduct audits and penetration testing on game randomness mechanics.
• Address vulnerabilities and continuously improve the security posture of the game engine.

Work Experience And SkillsEssential Experience:

• 5+ years of back-end development experience with at least 2 years in the iGaming or online casino industry, ideally in high-performance systems
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining casino game backend systems or game engines.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party RNG providers and other essential iGaming services.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Go, Java, or C#.
• Experience with databases, both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data communication.
• Expertise in ensuring security, data integrity, and compliance within gaming platforms.
• Experience working with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
