About The Role WorkPac is currently in search of a Human Resources Manager to join our esteemed client's team based in Perth. This position is Monday to Friday, with some ad hoc travel. Duties And Responsibilities
- Mentor other Human Resource advisor in the organisation.
- Lead and manage HR functions.
- Oversee compliance by reviewing safety assessments and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of induction systems.
- Manage employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) issues effectively.
- Integrate Indigenous cultural understanding into HR practices and operations.
- Travel to Pilbara sites every six weeks to address HR and compliance needs.
- Represent HR at leadership discussions, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
Skills And Experience
- Experience in leading and mentoring other HR professionals.
- Experience in HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Strong skills in managing employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) issues.
- Ability to develop and implement HR systems and processes.
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards.
- Understanding and respect for Indigenous culture in the workplace.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
