About the Role
The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director Architecture Practice and Delivery (EL2) to join our team in a full-time ongoing position. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of Architecture-focused Project Managers and Business Analysts to deliver key outcomes for the Architecture Branch.
As the Director of Architecture Practice and Delivery (APD), you will be responsible for coordinating Architecture activities across Agency projects, product releases, and BAU functions. You will ensure that architecture processes are followed, resources are efficiently allocated, and Architecture collaborates effectively with the rest of the Agency.
You will work closely with the Branch Manager and Architecture Directors to plan branch initiatives, budgets, and procurement activities. Additionally, you will oversee the development of the Architecture Strategy and Roadmaps, playing a key role in driving strategic goals and ensuring their successful implementation. You will also be responsible for the Architecture front of house function, providing a single point of contact for the Agency to engage with Architecture.
Skills and Experience
- Hold tertiary qualifications in ICT Management or demonstrate equivalent expertise through extensive professional experience and ICT certifications.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Digital Health Architecture areas.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams within the Architecture domain.
- Strong coordination skills to manage Architecture activities across various projects, product releases, and BAU functions.
- Experience in planning branch initiatives, budgets, and procurement activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage the Architecture front of house function and engage with the Agency.

Eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
