Copywriter

What’s my role?

As the Copywriter, you will drive the design and creation process of RFP responses and pitch decks, from brief to output. You will ensure Bupa’s collateral are aligned with brand guidelines, value proposition, audience and engagement strategies.

Key to this role is the ability to simplify complex information and leverage creativity as a problem-solving tool, creating solutions that engage and inform.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager – Tender Operations and internal Bupa creative studio, Blue Agency, with the collective goal to win and retain partners.

Together with internal stakeholders like the ICP Go-to-Market Team, you will craft clear language and visuals that reflect the brand and our goals.

Success will look like contributing to improving efficiencies in bid management process and uplifting creative quality in presentations.

This will be an initial 12-month fixed term contract engagement.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Create, design, and refresh RFP responses, tender proposals, and pitch decks for new and existing Bupa assets.
• Develop a fit-for-purpose style guide to ensure high level of quality and consistency is reflected.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and prioritising workload effectively.
• Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate Bupa’s value proposition and unique selling points.
• Collaborate with Senior Tender Manager and GTM Team to develop and refine processes, library, templates and best practice.
• Participate in kick off meetings, review meetings and debrief sessions to gather feedback and improve future bids.
• Support for Corporate and International GTM and Marketing needs including design and social content strategy when tender period is quiet.

What will I bring?

• Minimum 5 years with a strong portfolio of long and short form copy and design.
• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign).
• A track record of delivering on large volume of work, across multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective working relationships with subject matter experts across the business.
• Experience working within a complex and regulated company.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and visual).
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of a team.
• Can-do’ attitude and approach to work.
