Telehealth Doctor - Tasmania

You will join a team that aims to make healthcare more accessible to Australians by leveraging technology to overcome the challenges of long wait times for treatment, particularly in rural areas. This vacancy is for a doctor who is in Tasmania, and an approved prescriber for medicinal cannabis (or is willing to become). THE OPPORTUNITY

• Medical Practitioners are required to provide private telehealth consultations
• Patients book GP consultations online
• These consults are fully private fees, with no Medicare rebates applicable (no DPA restrictions!)
• Most of these consultations are for simple medical conditions
• Support & onboarding process in place - you can be up and running today
• There may also be requests for medical certificates, radiology requests, and pathology requests
• You will have the ability to send E prescriptions to patients
• Service utilises a telehealth app that’s built to facilitate requests in a simple and intuitive manner
• Busiest times are 6 am to 8 am, 7 days/week
• Other time slots are also available should you choose to do on your off days/weekends
• Even if you went overseas on holidays, you are still able to make this income
• Earn roughly $200/hr of non-medicare income
• Flexible hours are available
• Busiest times are: 5-7 am, & 7-9pm, Australian Eastern Standard time, & weekends
