Early Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary Allied Health organisation. We are committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to provide the best start for each child to reach their full potential. As The Business Services Support Officer This role can be based anywhere in Australia! You will be an integral part of the Early Start Australia team to maintain compliance and promote best practices. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Officer, you will provide support to the Business Services Division of ESA including but not limited to: on and offboarding clinical staff from financial systems; administrative compliance functions; internal audit; administrative processes, and logistics coordination. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Quality & Compliance Support: Assist with internal audits, maintaining certifications, implementing compliance strategies, and conducting audits to ensure adherence to standards (e.g., NDIS, regulatory obligations).
  • Training & Documentation: Help prepare training plans, track staff development, and assist in regulatory document preparation to meet compliance targets and certifications.
  • Business Services & Operational Support: Support clinic projects (e.g., equipment procurement, file storage), manage queries, and coordinate with PMS and IT teams for system configurations and clinic operations.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Clinical Staff: Coordinate setup of various systems (e.g. Medipass, HICAPS) for new and departing clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to ESA policies, maintain confidentiality, promote work health & safety, and actively participate in risk identification and prevention.

About You

  • Strong understanding of quality frameworks and standards, specifically around the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience in Disability or family services
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, influence and problem solve.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Certifications – NDIS Worker Check; Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific); Police Check; must satisfy all visa requirements to work in Australia
