Full Stack Engineer

Emanda has an opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their start up team. You will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of the application.

About Emanda:

The Emanda app is a product that assists business advisory firms and company owners establish a business value. It automatically constructs a data room, establishes business goals and initiatives and tracks this daily through a taking care of business approach. The vision is for the product to become the platform all advisors use to simplify their data collection and organisation so that they can focus on assisting their clients using their subject matter expertise.

The aim of the product is to rid the world of the tedious amount of common business, accounting and legal tasks when it comes to evaluating and creating business value! 

What you'll do:

• Build and enhance features on the Emanda App, from concept to deployment.
• Application Development React, Nest js, HTML/CSS, Java, PostgreSQL, API’s
• Docker and Elastic Container Service – all our apps are tested and deployed using Docker.
• Develop features that use applied AI and cloud-hosted LLMs to automate business workflows in code and extract insights from structured/unstructured data.
• Experience with AWS and AWS Services
• DevOps – we are responsible for delivery into production and support once it is there. We use GitOps to deploy to the cloud.
• Support the Sales and Leadership team in customer support by providing third level customer support where required.
• Work in an agile team.
• Work across the stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end architecture.

What we're after:

• 5 + years of experience in a mainstream programming language (e.g. NestJS, JavaScript, Node, React) 
• Practical experience with applied AI and development against cloud-hosted LLMs (OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex AI etc). 
• Experience developing and deploying software 
• Knowledge in building full-stack web products using open source and cloud technologies 
• Curiosity for technology and the ability to balance the trade-offs between engineering and business outcomes 
• A desire to learn new things and solve problems 
• Someone who can adapt and thrive in an evolving environment and be ok with ambiguity.
• Experience working with FinTech products is a massive plus, as well as the ability to work with file systems and document management. 
• Learning agility alongside existing and proven experience
