We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. This role is key in driving the strategic direction, delivery, and success of Salesforce projects, ensuring they align with both client expectations and business objectives. MTX APAC is a global cloud technology consulting firm that enables organisations to modernise through digital transformation. With expertise in the government and public sector, MTX APAC provides proprietary designs and innovative concept accelerators around a multitude of programs, including strategic blueprinting, licensing and permitting, inspections, grants management, case management, and program management. We are a Salesforce Summit partner with specialist expertise in Sales, Service and Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Tableau, Mulesoft, Marketing Cloud, etc.

About the Role& Responsibilities:

Project Collaboration:

  • Ensure effective collaboration and execution throughout all phases of development, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage changes to Salesforce code and configurations and collaborate with other developers in a team environment to ensure security best practices and code optimisation.
  • Ensure project timelines are met in collaboration with the PMO and Functional workstream.

Solution Design Document & Deliverables:

  • Create comprehensive technical design documents outlining the architecture, data model, and implementation details of Salesforce solutions
  • Responsible for data model and data management tasks within Salesforce, such as data import/export, data mapping, data cleansing, data migration, and data manipulation using Data Loader or other ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
  • Configure the data warehouse Snowflake, databricks .

Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions:

  • Use Lightning Web components, Force.com Apex Class, Triggers, etc., to develop custom solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design patterns, implement Asynchronous Apex, write effective unit tests and test classes, develop triggers, and adhere to coding best practices.
  • Develop custom UI using Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce, including advanced CSS and JavaScript.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Technical Support and Integration:

  • Automate development processes, including continuous integration, deployment, and release cycles.
  • Integrate applications with Salesforce using REST and SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, and middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or Informatica.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards by conducting code reviews with a focus on identifying potential issues and ensuring code quality.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve defects found during the testing phases.
  • Work closely with the functional team to integrate testing into the development process and resolve issues.
  • Execute UAT with stakeholders and make sure the solution meets final expectations and system specifications.

Post-Implementation Review and Iterative Improvement:

  • Provide ongoing support after deployment, addressing system issues and optimising performance.

Organisation Development:

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to the project, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.
  • Growth and Development of Project: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field.
  • Lead Continuous improvement of Salesforce development processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience
  • 2+ years of experience with OmniStudio is must
  • Extensive experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce development.
  • Hands on experience with Web services and integration
  • Extensive experience in developing Lightning Components - both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components
  • Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written
  • Experience creating Workflow, process builder and Approval process
  • Experience with developing data models within Salesforce
  • Understanding of UX and UI design principles
  • Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callout
  • Good experience of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language)
  • Exposure to LWC
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Services & community modules
  • Should have exposure to version control and continuous integration via bitbucket or Github
  • Ability to stand and sit for sustained periods of time, at least 50%
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analysing data; transcribing/typing; viewing a computer; extensive reading

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce OmniStudio Developer certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Prior experience working in Agile development environments.
