About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Transformation Lead to drive and manage a comprehensive transformation strategy within our Products Team. This pivotal role will focus on optimising systems, processes, and technology, ensuring that our client's regulatory and compliance standards are elevated to meet industry expectations.
You will work closely with key stakeholders, including electrical engineers, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and other internal and external partners, to identify areas for improvement and implement effective change.
Reporting to the General Manager Service & Transformation, the Transformation Lead – Products is responsible for supporting the transition, management and reporting of a range of initiatives to identify and deliver opportunities for improved service delivery, business efficiency and effectiveness, and ultimately better ways to deliver service delivery of community outcomes through the effective use of digital services (including people, processes and technologies)
Key area responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the business transformation strategy within the Products Team.
- Review and enhance current systems, processes, and compliance measures.
- Work alongside the existing incumbent for a transitional period before assuming full responsibility.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with transformation goals.
- Engage with industry stakeholders and government bodies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Present and articulate transformation plans and progress to leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Apply change management principles to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Provide training and support to teams impacted by the transformation initiatives.
About You
Qualifications and/or experience in project management, change management and/or demonstrated experience in the development and execution of significant change programs, including:
- Strong technical acumen
- Proven track record in leading transformation or change management initiatives, ideally within a regulatory or compliance-focused environment.
- Qualifications and/or experience in change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills who can establish strong relations and influence change.
- High levels of creativity coupled with the ability to problem solve.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with diverse stakeholder groups, including engineers and government bodies.
