About The Role A client is seeking a talented illustrator for a children's book, which explores Trump's recent candidacy and related events in a playful and engaging way. The illustrations will feature simple, iconic 2D characters and scenes designed to appeal to young readers. Your work will play a central role in bringing this story to life, as the book will be launched on Kickstarter and later sold on Amazon. This project requires creating illustrations that resonate with children while capturing the unique tone and style of the narrative. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of children's book illustrations and the ability to design characters with a style similar to SpongeBob—simple, iconic, and visually appealing. This is a remote opportunity with a delivery timeline extending through April/May 2025. Requirements

• Proven experience in illustrating for children's books, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or similar software
• Ability to create simple, iconic 2D characters and scenes with engaging visuals tailored for young readers
• Strong storytelling skills through visual design, ensuring illustrations complement and enhance the narrative
• Commitment to meeting deadlines with a professional approach to communication and collaboration
• Availability to work remotely on a flexible schedule with project completion targeted for April/May 2025
