Company Description
For a Better Australia, Led by the Next Generation. Youth Forward. Future Focused. Better
Connected.
Future Forward Australia (FFA) is committed to empowering young people and driving sustainable
progress for our country. Through a range of programs and initiatives, we strive to create a brighter
future for all Australians, with youth voice at the centre. We connect and amplify individuals,
organisations, and causes that align with our five key pillars:
• Climate Change
• Economic Prosperity
• Education
• Health
• Equity & Inclusion
Rather than competing with other youth-led advocacy groups, FFA focuses on collaboration and
collective action. Our mission is to empower young Australians by increasing awareness, building
connections, and driving meaningful change.
Role Description
The Director of Future Connect leads the development and growth of FFA’s interactive hub and
directory of individuals, organisations and opportunities working towards a better Australia. This
directory, housed on FFA’s website, aims to facilitate networking, resource-sharing, and
collaboration among youth-led and advocacy-focused entities, and connect young people with
opportunities to make a positive contribution to the betterment of tomorrow.
In this role, you will design and implement strategies to identify, engage, and maintain
relationships with potential partners across Australia, and oversee the technological development
of this platform. You will also manage CRM tools or processes to track, document, and maximise
interactions with our partner network. Working closely with FFA’s CEO, COO, executive team, and
core team, you will ensure Future Connect aligns with FFA’s overall strategic goals.
This is a valuable opportunity to help a not-for-profit in its infancy grow to maturity through
careful guidance. The role requires a proactive leader with strong stakeholder management,
organisational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for youth advocacy and community-
building.

- Project management and strategic planning abilities
