Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to manage our NSW, North territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets for our medical devices and reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Hospital. This is a remote position that requires regular reporting on sales activity, market trends, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and prioritize sales opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Provide product demonstrations, training, and support to customers to ensure they understand the features and benefits of our medical devices.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network with potential customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and market trends using the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback to the sales and marketing teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or life sciences.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in a NSW based territory.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital and clinic operations, purchasing processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend occasional national meetings.
